Beginning to question my thoughts on Wiscy being able to beat tOSU.

Illinois has had rcvrs open downfield. Peters just hasn't been able to hit them.

tOSU has better rcvrs and Fields won't miss them.

I get where you’re coming from, I really do. If I was a player.....knowing myself and my competitive nature.....I would be watching that game and thinking, “if Illinois can do this why can’t we?? This is fucking ridiculous.”

But as @Red_Alert and others have pointed out, there is a culture problem that Frost is still dealing with. You can see it any time we get our backs up against the wall......we lay over and take it up the ass. Not everyone, but the vast majority of the team does.

We won’t be competitive in the big games until the guys wearing the helmets and pads decide they want to be competitive in the big games.

Sipple made a great point the other day on 1620. Our players get so much respect and credit during the off-season, they might feel like they don’t even have to earn it. We blew this team so far out of proportion this past off-season.....maybe it’s time they just earn it on the field.

Haha no I hear ya. I mean these guys really don't know how to win. IMO I really do think it is all the California kids to be quite Frank. California kids are just soft mentally and the Calabasas movement really just castrated us from what Bo's mentality was. It's going to be year 4 or 5 before we turn the corner and Scott Frost recruits really start settling in. But once Frost gets his recruits here I feel like it's going to take hold and gain traction pretty fast and once that happens I feel like we will be the team to catch. Huskerz Fer champs 2023

He is going to get it turned around. It’s just a bad situation he walked into.
