Maybe that's so, but you just don't say things like that. Transfers are extremely common these days, for a variety of reasons, and to be honest they should be allowed. Coaches can up and leave whenever they please if they think it's the right decision for their lives, there's no reason players shouldn't also be able to, but that's a different conversation. That said, when you make that kind of insinuation, it creates an unnecessary level of skepticism that rates mental issues below coaches filling out a roster, and that's messed up.Once again — all he did was state a fact. If players are given a waiver to transfer for self diagnosed medical issues — all any player who wants to transfer has to say is.........I’m depressed.
And a player dealing with psychological issues, the LAST thing they need is to immediately start playing football if they transfer. So if depression is your reason for transferring — they need to get on meds and work on themselves, not learning a new playbook.
