I'm not sure why you think the term "bar fight" downplays a crime. A bar fight can include murder. If a bar fight starts with a stabbing, it's still a bar fight. The level of crime has nothing to do with the term "bar fight". If my wife got groped in line, I would support her following through on charges. My stance wouldn't change if someone punched her. In fact, I think I'd be more upset if someone punched my wife in the face than grabbed her crotch in line. But that's just my initial reaction and in no way means I'm downplaying someone grabbing someone's crotch (because that's where you tend to take this). Most forms of unwanted sexual contact are misdemeanors in almost any state. You know what crime it's similar to? Aggravated assault, also a misdemeanor. Both charged very similarly in the courts. What takes sexual contact to another level if there's any attempt at undressing or penetration; THAT is where people end up on sexual predator lists. Otherwise, it's usually a misdemeanor.

This is how the law treats these crimes. That's the punishment for these crimes. You're treating me like some pro-r*pe person because I'm stating how our own justice system handles these events. I'm not OK with that. I don't support either of these things. I'd be pissed if either happened to anyone I know. And while I might personally wish the worst possible punishment on someone who did these to anyone I know, I impartially realize that some people do bad things, make mistakes and need ways to redeem themselves.

Which is why I'm fine with someone being allowed to go back and attempt to correct their life choices and get a second chance. Then your issue is with our justice system, not me. You believe something is more serious of a crime than our law suggests it is. Would have, could have, been charged or convicted can be all over the place. You can get aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by hitting someone in the head with a beer bottle. They didn't. Hitting someone with a beer bottle in the head could kill them, it didn't. The only person with fucked up morals is the person trying to downplay a physical assault (You) because after starting this debate and finding a similar incident on your own team, you don't want to be wrong.

Once again — all he did was state a fact. If players are given a waiver to transfer for self diagnosed medical issues — all any player who wants to transfer has to say is.........I’m depressed.

And a player dealing with psychological issues, the LAST thing they need is to immediately start playing football if they transfer. So if depression is your reason for transferring — they need to get on meds and work on themselves, not learning a new playbook.

No doubt, but position coaches are who deal with the recruits on a day to day basis. More so than the head coach.
So while Zach Smith wasn’t the best position coach, he was a very likable guy and could recruit his ass off.
From the sound of some of his strip club recruiting trips and how much he likes to drink — he sounds like a fun guy to hang out with.

I do agree Meyer is definitely the closer on many of these recruits.
