This is all speculation. The W's are a great team without Durant but he had some really big, key games the last 3 years. Who's to say how series would have turned out without some monstrous, I'm the best player in the NBA performances without him. The dialogue around this team is a joke. When Durant is rolling Curry's overrated, when Curry is rolling Durant is unnecessary. The margin of error is razor thin if you want to make it to 5 straight finals and all the guys that were involved deserve credit for pulling this shit off.

Yeah, either that or maybe the Bucks, who would be a match-up nightmare for the Warriors, could have not lost 4 games straight to be sent home. Why is this the Warriors problem? They had the talent to win and you really couldn't have asked for anything else roster-wise going into the Raptors series and they lost. That's not something the Warriors do.

Actually he's pretty religious, thanks God a lot to reporters, and devoted to his family. Winning is important. What isn't is credit/ego bullshit. He knows he's great so he doesn't need validation of that.

I'm sure that on some level Curry would like to show what he can win a finals MVP without KD. Everyone has an ego and no matter how well Steph hides it, he has one too.

Having said that, I think that what sets him apart from other superstars is the fact that he can keep his ego in check and just enjoy winning rings.

I think he'd rather finish his career with say 4 or 5 rings and no finals MVP's than with 3 rings and a finals MVP.

Besides, I doubt anyone thinks that the Warriors are anyone's team other than Steph's...including KD.
