Can Phils hang on with 3-run edge in the 9th? Yeah, will make up for last night brutality.
Too bad they do not have a designated fielder option. Then the German could play center and someone else wouldWalding = Altherr

hit for him!
Eickhoff gets the start today. His 1st of the season. Hoping that he shuts the Rockies down. I think he will
be effective. Phillies hot hitting must continue. GO PHILLIES!
Hoskins watches a lot of pitches, even with 2 strikes i've seen him watch ones down the middle. somewhat odd because watching his home runs it looks so easy.Hoskins watches strikes go by when they are down the middle. Then starts swinging when he has two strikes.
Needless to say he swings at borderline pitches when down in the count.
while i am working on a buzz, the sixers win yesterday has me feeling well and good. it's extremely early on in the season, nothing to get to high or low about, they have the talent to win at all positions (starters, bullpen, hitters, etc). IL has struck them recently, extra innings as well, mainly due to inconsistency from said hitters, okay maybe not inconsistency, they lacked when it came to RISP, did very well otherwise.Cheer up, drunkards, Phils remain in first! Now the team flies to New York feeling like they just escaped from an S&M party.
neris had a bad year last year, his stuff is still there and it's showing, Robertson hasn't been inspiring to start the season, hope the injury was a part of it, hope he doesn't turn into turk wendell (if nothing else he's not wearing a dumb necklace), seranthony gots it, neshak had a bad outing the other day, but coming back from injury i expect him to be solid, that's four cats right there that can get the job done. that's not bad.The bullpen still remains suspect Taddy.
They will have to get off them soon, those bases will need some dusting!Phils left 41 runners on base in CO.
