That was just great D. Both Ds were very well prepared and executed their preparation. The Pats O just handled it better which isn't surprising. It would have been nice if it was a bit tighter at the end but I thought it was an enjoyable game.

As a Pats fan it was plenty close. Too many nail bitters my ticker can't take much more.

Goff had receivers open and had lots of time to throw for the most part and he could not hit them. He looked shell shocked.

Yea, even Romo commented on several of Goff's misses. He barely got the ball to a wide-open Cooks standing in the endzone and the ball was so slow, that the NE DB ran all the way from the other side of the field to knock it down. Goff also missed a wide-open Gurley twice on passes he tried to force into double coverage to WR. Goff has to get better at his reads as he indeed looked shell-shocked from nearly the getgo.

Nope. Just stating a fact and I had some hope that McVay would live-up to his genius label and get past Belicheat's experience but to no avail that didn't happen. Nothing in sports surprises me anymore. Did it surprise you?

Not at all, I thought there would be more points in the 2nd half but with 2 weeks to prepare I figured the rams would have a hard time.

Agree and can't wait to see Wynn next season.
That's just another part of this Patriots mystique. Always drafting late and when they do their 1st rounder is lost for the season.
It really is amazing and almost humbles some of us NE fans.

I disagree. The game was up in the air until final minutes.

Doesn’t matter. Fans don’t like seeing the football falling aimlessly all over the field, few silky smooth difficult snares in the end zone or few rushers banging across the goal line.

NFL has implemented a lot of measures to make it an Offense League.

Still cool to once and awhile see a great defensive battle. I got one.

I like a shoot-out too. Not dissapointed with this game at all......
