To be fair, most of this thread is an opportunity to crap on OSU fans. It probably stems from the obnoxious clowns in your fanbase, and the way they jumped all over JoePa and PSU for the Sandusky situation. Add to that the OSU fans defending Meyer at every turn and we have a 200 pager on our hands.

Now, if this had been another prestige program not OSU, ask yourself if you'd be posting a bunch of smack like these guys about that program. I don't follow your posts well enough to know if you'd pile on or not, but it's how message boards work. Actually no. I'd say the same thing. People are "outraged" over someone lying to the media. Did they lie to the police or even the NCAA? Hinder any official investigations? Nope. It's very unjust to call for someones head, no matter who it is, based on no actual evidence and only he said/she said crap and their own assumptions.

I listened to a lot of sports talk radio last night about this and taking it for what its worth, the consensus seemed to be that if fired, it would happen within the next 48 hours.

Seems about right, the season is a month away. If they know they are going to have to part ways they are going to do it ASAP to get the ball rolling on to the next chapter.

I have heard some people questioning why they didn't make Schiano or Wilson the interim HC since they have previously experience. That would be a PR nightmare.
