I am so glad we have the foresight to acquire a handful of relievers but continue to be negligent about Romines spot on the roster. Guy should have been gone by the end of May but instead is taking a critical AB in 1 run game against your biggest rival. Criminal and inexcusable.

Agree... I still can't believe they haven't found another replacement for Romine... 41 AB's with Runners on / 0 RBI's... You can't have that guy in the lineup...

I actually get Gamel going down. He's not a guy you want to rot on your bench like he would be. Sent him down and let him play everyday..much like how I wanted Heredia in Tacoma playing everyday earlier this year. Though if Seattle gets the Maybin from April and May, expect Gamel being right back up to be his pinch hitter.

They do have a terrible bench right now and no idea why Jerry didn't address Romine's position or just DFA him. He is just a backup infielder now and I think there are better options than him in the minors.
