My money is on Elias becoming a starter again. Pazos and Duke as lefties, Tui, Nicasio, Colome, Vincent, and Diaz as righties.

Not sure who that leaves as the long man when Felix gets shelled in the 2nd again, but maybe Bradford stays and Vincent is gone.

See that was my point, go get the damn starter well all know, they know as well and put him in Felix spot... Want to fix Felix, throw his ass in the bullpen and tell him to figure it out!

Altavilla was a name I figured might be dealt. Haven't read anything, just might have some value over Vincent and Nicasio.

Knowing DIPoto, maybe he deals Diaz for a SP under control and moves Nicasio into the closer role...I kid...kind of...no I kid.

That's pretty disappointing. I'd get it if we were trying down to the wire for a big guy and just couldn't get another team to bite, but that sounds like we're just done actively trying to get a SP.

Jon Heyman of Fancred reports that the Yankees, Indians and Mariners are interested in Cameron Maybin.

Maybin makes for a solid secondary addition for a contender with his ability to play all three outfield spots and pinch-run. He's batted .249/.337/.337 with three homers and eight steals for the Marlins this season.

Yankees acquired RHP Lance Lynn and cash considerations from the Twins for 1B/OF Tyler Austin and RHP Jose Rijo.

There wouldn't appear to be a spot available for Lynn in the Yankees' rotation, but he gives them protection and might allow them to given some rest to Luis Severino, who has struggled lately. Lynn does have past bullpen experience and could wind up there. He's posted a 5.10 ERA and 100/62 K/BB ratio over 102 1/3 innings this season.

Braves acquired OF Adam Duvall from the Reds for RHPs Lucas Sims and Matt Wisler and OF Preston Tucker.

Duvall is batting just .205/.286/.399 with 15 home runs and 61 RBI this season, although his batted ball data says he's been pretty unlucky and he brings some defensive value in the outfield. He seems likely to play primarily against lefties, with Ronald Acuna moving to center field and Ender Inciarte going to the bench those days.

We don't have the parts to trade for a starter or bat but magically due when it comes to relievers. Relievers are fine but does it matter when Servais is just gonna use the shit out Nicasio and Colome anyway. Why acquire a bunch of matchup relievers if you have a manager that doesn't manage to matchups and manages by roles
