If Seattle loses Wilson, they're a 100% guarantee to get the #1 pick. Perhaps the team that can least afford to lose their #1 QB.No matter who they have at QB they'll always be competing for the #1 draft pick the following year LOL.

LOL far from a guarantee. Austin Davis is your backup? Your OL is trash. 1 win without Wilson would be optimistic. With the talent we have on the roster there's no way we'd lose all 16 games.

NE 11-5 and missed the playoffs. Just sayin for a friend. All the predictions in the world won't help when the injury bug hits. i.e, How many teams could lose their #1 QB and remain competitive?

Oh I must've missed that in the original questionAncient history. Talking 2018 now.
Our OL is better this year than it has been in year's past. We also upgraded the RB position by taking Rashard Penny. Austin Davis knows the system very well. He's a serviceable backup to Wilson.

You're correct it's very difficult to predict. But teams that prepare for the inevitable injuries by putting together better balanced rosters and not overpaying fair better.I was talking about predictions. The NFL is so hard to predict because of the impact of injuries, especially the QB

You weren't even making a case.Look back at teams who have won all 4 preseason games. How did they fare in the regular season. I rest my case.
I think over the course of a 16 game season on Seattle he'd go something like 5-11. Its quite bad but not 0-16 or 1-15.Austin Davis is 3-7 as starter.

Also, Austin Davis is the worst backup QB in the NFL. Your OL is still trash, and your aging defense is fracturing. Seattle is likely getting a top 10 pick next year regardless. If Wilson goes down, it's a locked in #1.
Nah, it's not. Outside of the top 10 in both total D and PPG allowed, and you're losing important pieces. The full rebuild is maybe a year away, if that.We might as well have a new OL with new coach Mike Solari. It was trash the past couple years under Tom Cable. We need the best 5 guys in front of Russell Wilson we just need the right coach to get the very best out of the guys blocking for him. Our "aging defense" is still right up there as one of the best in the entire league.
