The stats don't lie. LeBron right now has more TO's (7) than FG's made (5). Which means he'll probably be pissed off & have a big game 2. Be ready Boston.
Yes they do.
They can't beat the Warriors without a superstar. That is the level they should be striving for.
He wanted to play with a star instead of a rookie. Love was the guy on the market. That doesn't mean he was handpicked. The issues LeBron and Love have had over the years should be proof of that. If LeBron could have handpicked a running mate to trade Wiggins for, I can guarantee you it would not have been Kevin Love. Again, it was Love or Wiggins. That does not mean Love was "handpicked", which implies LeBron had more options. He didn't.
Smith was a reclamation project given away by the Knicks. The buyout players? Seriously? You mean the guys cut by the tanking teams?
Yes, he helped his teammates who helped him get a ring in Cleveland get overpaid. My opinion is that was more to get back at Dan Gilbert than it was about building the best possible roster.
When LeBron leaves 1 year after Kyrie, the organization will in shambles and still have a few bad contracts.
This was not a handpicked roster at all. It was LeBron trying to help his friends and punish Gilbert at the same time. Do you really think LeBron would hand pick these guys if he could play with anybody?
He's no Lavar Ball. Which is a plus.
Let me try to do my bestest wiggy impression. First I have to slam my head in the car door so I don't think properly. Be right back, gotta run out to the garage.
Okay here we go. LeBron has 3 rings, Morris has none. LeBron has MVP's. Morris has nothing. Tristan > Whiteside. LeBron has gone to 7 straight Finals. What has Morris done? Someone lost their fastball. Dan Gilbert. Just wait until Love bounces back from this game. JR & Kover kill be knockin' down 3's in game 2. Final score Cleveland- 144 / Boston- 93.
Is game 2 a must win for Cavs?
If they had Hayward and Irving, I think they would roll over and past Cleveland without a big problem and would have a decent chance facing the Warriors. Fortunately for the Warriors - they don't have Hayward and Irving and yet they still have a good chance rolling Cleveland over, but the series is a long ways from being over and doing what they did tonight is no small task for BostonWell, look how good they are now, defense, coaching. Now add an elite scorer like Irving and a legit All-star like Hayward. That's a team that is probably as good as GS
So I'm not looking through this whole thread, I'm guessing not a word from @WiggyRuss ?
He's a weird fan for sure.
I just came back to 30....yes 30
I can confidently say that no one else would ever have so much.... i really should get a share of this place. lol
Not a good start. I predicted Boston would win game 1 but i am surprised it was in that fashion. LeBron was his typical Game 1 self this post-season- out of rhyhtm and not aggressive. I thought Love played decent, and TT obviously deserves more PT in this series, but not a whole lot of other positives here.
They need a split in Boston and get one more chance at it.
He came on a few hours after the game for this beauty:
He was more concerned about the people tagging him in posts than he was on the game.
Thanks. Not an unreasonable take on his part, both regarding the game and the board obsession with him. He's a very good troll, we all wanna take shots.
He's not a troll. He genuinely believes he's right.
Well, he does it in a trolly way though. All the repetition, the attempts to get fans of other teams worried about their situations, etc. He's a homer, a fan, he talks shit like the rest of us. And we are obsessed with him.
Hardly an obsession. It's intervals of 3 minutes of fun when I wait for my hot pocket to heat up or the A/C to cool the car down
Well, look how good they are now, defense, coaching. Now add an elite scorer like Irving and a legit All-star like Hayward. That's a team that is probably as good as GS
Its not a fantasy draft.
Its not a pick up game, like the all star game.
From the pool of available players, yes, he pretty much handpicked them.
I agree he wants to leave Gilbert in shambles, but I also think he thought he could win more titles while doing so.
He was blindsided by Durant and he got out superteamed.
