Based on how he's handled his previous FA's we can assume that...
he will take his time making his decision.
That's the worst part for me. We could be screwed if he doesn't sign with us.

Flaky, diplomatic....it's all semantics.
He is a line straddler....lol
This is the quote that makes me just laugh at his double talk.
“I obviously would’ve loved to go home. That was ideal when it was that time,” George told Nichols. “But now, being here and playing alongside Russ, playing alongside Melo, I feel a real brotherhood with those guys. If we’re here right now, then where can we be next year? Where can we be the year after that?”
But, agree that this is eerily similar to Durant, sans the fact that George is not guaranteed a championship year one.
We heard that was coming a year ago.
We’ll see.
Ive also read/heard that hes not happy with Gilberts support of Trump.
I say more like 60+ % hes gone, assuming no title this year.
I doubt he enjoyed having to do all the heavy lifting for 82 regular season games, totalling 3000 minutes played.
I doubt he likes having to be super human in every playoff game.
if i were the Lakers- if i could pick ANY two it would be Cousins and LeBron.....Stay tuned, next week.....I'll want James and Leonard.
if i were the Lakers- if i could pick ANY two it would be Cousins and LeBron.....
if I was the Lakers and was thinking strategically long term i think Klay next year, Cousins this year- let cousins get healthy and add one more lotto pick would be a very solid startegy as well
but ifyou can get lebron you get lebron- hes the best in the league and will continue to be.....any chance you can get him you do whatever it takes to get him no questions asked....if lebron asked for part ownership (i know thats nota thing) and to get rid of Ball so he can play point- you ask him how much ownership and where should we send Lonzo? ...whatever he asks for he should get from whereever he goes/stays
@TJL said Woj is sitting on it till this summer.
I remember.
Not sure I take it as accurate.
Everyone wants to be the first to break a story.
Woj is going to keep it a supposed secret for a year?
Gilbert strikes me as the kind of turd who would do it and Woj would if had James confidence. Woj the best in the business and I think he might do it.

When it first started being mentioned, I was against Boogie coming to the Lakers because he's pretty much been a bit of a head case and I didn't want him around the kids.
But I started coming around on him because he's been a solid citizen in NOLA.
But the blown Achilles scares the hell out of me.
If the Lakers can get him on a less than max or a max for fewer years, it might be worth a gamble. I just don't want to see them spend that money and then he doesn't come back from it enough to be worth that kind of money and here stuck for 4-5 years with damaged goods.
Would you take Ingram and Ball and Kuzma over Jokic, Murray and Harris + lotto pick?
would you take Ingram Ball and Kuzma over Booker, Jackson and high lotto pick (ayton, doncic or bagley)
and you can debate this one- but id take DSJ and say Jackson or BAmba over ingram and ball.
there are a ton of teams in the West that have some really good young players and if you are being objective i cant see how you would take the Lakers young guys over quite a few other teams young guys.
