SEC on CBS could really use some more entertainment

hearing Jim Bob Cooter 80 times during Tennessee games would help with that

Next week will make 4 weeks in a row that UGA has been the 3:30 game on CBS, and 5th of the season.

At this point there's so few good teams in the SEC that they pretty much just have to put one of the few highly ranked teams on there

This week is no surprise, most teams are playing FCS opponents and UL-Monroe, Georgia/Kentucky and Tennessee/LSU are the only options, and at least Georgia is highly ranked

True. Just shows how down the SEC is though. You have 3 good teams and 3 decent teams and then a bunch of crap.

Least your conference is smart enough to put those good games on at 3:30 or later. Sometimes the B12 best games are on at noon this year. :L

Didn’t Gundy flirt with uTenn awhile back?

And Arky. When you have more success than anyone at your school has seen before yet a billionaire booster still shits on you, exploring options isn't out of the question.

Hopefully everyone is happy right now

I had actually wondered why he had done that with Gundy coaching at his alma mater.

Makes sense, though.

See Nebraska Fans.
This is how you do it.

You are now behind the 8 ball and late to the party.

Fair enough, truthfully I never see Gundy leaving Stillwater til he retires.

Shhhssshhhhh....don’t tell that to ESPN. tSEC is their highest earning trick as a whole, so the 24/7 fluffing about how awesome the conf is from top to bottom will continue. Now repeat after me, “quality loss, quality loss, quality loss”.

Someone folks are mentioning is Mullen

I'm not sure Tennessee wants that. Mullen would definitely have the program in better shape but as proven last night and in prior games Mullen is not a big game coach, Tennessee will have some 10 win seasons under him but they won't beat Bama

If I were Mullen, I'd rather keep the job at Miss State. As long as the team is competitive, you're never on the hotseat. Tennessee isn't an easy job. No in state talent and a fanbase that expects to compete for titles every season,

I agree, I think a bigger job could derail his career

He and Mississippi State have a great marriage, he has them on the best level ever and on some seasons he will hit that 10 win ceiling.

Tennessee is in better shape now than when Jones took over, recruiting isn't an issue...They just need someone who is a good gameday coach

Tennessee actually has plenty of in-state talent, about on par with Louisiana and Ohio. Not on the level of Texas, Florida, California or Georgia, but we're not Iowa, either.

We about to steal a 5 star O-lineman from Knoxville who's father played for Tennessee under Phil Fulmer from yall.
