Delly - pretty medicore pg, gets massive contract hasn't really turned into anything

Mozgov - Lakers gave huge contract, not sure if he is even in the league?

Kyrie Irving - Couldn't make the playoffs when lebron sat the team couldn't win a game, really 1 dimensional player...Boston gives up 40% of their starting lineup, an all star pg and the possibly #1 pick in the draft.

Love- Couldn't make the playoffs either. Also couldn't win a game without lebron. Now has a ring.

Anyone who thinks Boston won the trade is a fucking moron. Irving was probably the most egregious lopsided trade i can remember. I will admit i valued Kyrie high, but it was the lebron effect had me fooled. It really made me think he was better than he was....It wasn't full retard like...Wiggy who thought TT was great

Of course, he went to the Finals with a roster full of role players in his early days

It's a shame Hayward got hurt in Boston... would have been a better shot for something special to brew this year with Kyrie at the helm. As things stand for this season, looks like the C's are going to have growing pains with a lot of young players...

Anywho, the real test of this trade will be beyond this season, and there is still a lot up on the air... the health of IT?, what will the BRK pick end up being?

Too early and not enough clarity to come down hard that Cleveland dominated this trade, although I concede that was the concensus view after the trade was done.

Angie blew his load on Kyrie. Crowder and IT were starters on a 60 win team. How many games did kyrie win leading teams? These weren't some scrubs bro

And then they threw in the lottery pick on top of it and a 2nd round pick lol

He bet his future on Kyrie/Hayward are lost big

Again... far too early for your big conclusions. You're just making noise on the internet.

Didn't you say Kyrie was the best PG in the league?

I don't know but I think Irving's "value" is gonna be proved to be VERY overrated this year.. Depth>>>>>Irving.

Unfortunately we won't be able to judge with what happened to Hayward. Irving will put up stats but there's only so far that team can go with him having to carry all the load.

So, let me get this straight.

LeBron is overrated. Irving is overrated too.

So how did the Cavs make 3 straight Finals appearances and win a title?

Oh right, I forgot. Everyone else is overrated also. Except D Rose. He is god's gift to the game of basketball.

I somewhat disagree.

If Irving really is the player Boston paid for, they should still win 50+ games and be top 3 in the East. His supporting cast sans Hayward is every bit as good as John Wall's, and I might make the case they are better depending on Brown and Tatum's development.

I already explained this above, learn how to read

giphy.gif

You may be admitting you are wrong now, but that is the same as admitting you are a ridiculous homer.

The ONLY thing about Kyrie that has changed since last off season is that he demanded a trade and is on a new team. He was exactly the same player in 2017 that he was in 2016 when you said he was better than Curry. 2 games into a new season isn't enough to draw conclusions otherwise, especially when he played pretty well in game 1 against the Cavs.

Have you been watching the Eastern Conference over the last decade? Their only legitimate competition has been the Bulls (Who were HAMMERED by Injuries to key players like 90 percent of the time)

And the title they DID win was because of Bogut going down and Curry wasn't healthy either. Essentially they LUCKED OUT

Look Irving is a great player but to think the Cavs aren't going to just waltz into the finals, you are kidding yourself. The Cavs would have still reached a few finals WITHOUT Irving. And he doesn't make up for the Cavs obtaining Rose/Wade (Who will still get his points even though hes near the end) and IT when hes healthy.

If Rose is healthy enough, hes gonna get you 10-18 points a night. He isn't what he was 5-6 years ago but hes still a force enough, and you're gonna get a ton of production out of IT when he gets healthy. Wade will still get points and give them a boost offensively in the playoffs.

Its the increased Depth for the Cavs is whats gonna make them tougher than they were a year ago.

Irving "perceived value" is big time overrated.

You are right about a couple things.

The Cavs will Waltz into the Finals and Kyrie is overrated for sure.

They will waltz into the Finals because LeBron is an all time great player. Take him off the roster and this year's Cavs would be a 6-7 seed at best. Depth only takes you so far. You need transcendent players and Cleveland has 1.
