First time in the HISTORY of the NFL. I'm sure you dont give a crap but go look at the Philly papers. One Sports writer said, "I never complain about officiating, NEVER. But this showing was absolutely a travesty."

Theres something going on with this dude Morelli. His last 4 games vs. Philly 83% of the call have gone against Philly. 40 penalties for 395 yards to 8 for 74 yards. Something aint right.

6. NBCSports I never complain about officiating. Ever. But 10 penalties for 126 yards against the Eagles and one penalty for one yard against the Panthers is hard to believe. According to Pro Football Reference, this was only the third game since penalty yards started being tracked in which one team had at least 100 penalty yards and another had one or fewer. That's outrageous. For the Eagles to overcome that, as well as everything else they were up against, shows just how far this team has come.

The refs were absolutely pure trash tonight. I dont even care that Philly had 11 penalties for 125 yards and 1 penalty for 1 yard for Carolina. It was absolutely horrific penalty after horrific penalty. Just absolutely terrible. I saw about 5 missed holding calls on Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham. They call touch PI calls on Philly making it impossible to play CB and Alshon get mugged and NOTHING.

Go watch the late hit on Philly turning a 3rd and 15 into a first down. Yes it was stupid he even touched Cam but if you watch it again in slow motion he barely grazes Cam and Cam does his Lebron James flop and they throw the flag.

Best part if go watch Cams amazing dive towards the end zone. He is walking off the field joking, laughing, smiling and the camera zooms in and he grimaces like he's hurt.

Does the head ref have the power to overturn a call and state 'there is no flag on the play'?
We know he was pulled from a playoff game, but is he incompetent or his crew incompetent? Or both???

Look, I'm an Eagles fan and the last four games with his crew does make one suspicious.

I agree that the penalty calling seems pretty lopsided. Having said that, the PI call on Mills that negated the int was the right call. Blame your DB for being an idiot and grabbing a shoulder pad on a lame duck throw by Cam that the receiver had no chance to catch in the first place. Bad discipline, plain and simple. I didn't really pay much attention to the rest of the calls so you may have a valid point on those. Seriously though, you just won a big road game and the team is 5-1 and atop the standings. All the bitching needs to stop.

One thing is for certain. The Panthers cannot make a single claim about the ref's screwing them last night.

There were bad calls on both teams...Alshon getting his arm pinned was easy to see on TV with the replay, unless the ref was in perfect position...hard to see that one.
