So close....

So Cain finishes with 77 QS where the team did not win. That's a lot of W's left on the table.

Moronta has been pitching well. Almost earning himself a spot on the opening 25.

Today may have been a down payment on a fancy doghouse, though.

Mac would at least like a fancy doghouse.

Matt Cain came up in 2004. Madison Bumgarner came up in 2010. They are currently tied with 104 career wins. That has way more to do with Cain’s run support than Bumgarner’s excellent career.

Cain has been completely useless for the last 4 or 5 years, though...

We have pretty much lost 1 reg every year, and with the low traffic that this site gets, that is fatal.

And this year not only took a major reg, it also pretty much killed all the semi-regs and occasional posters.

Yeah.....it was a bummer. Some seemed intent on burying this board for whatever reasons. I'll prefer to remember the good times than allow the weirdness/bitterness to settle in.

Moronta will be a beast.

This one is, as per usual, on this offense. They had the bases loaded and scored one run. Should have had more, which would have made the run Moronta gave up moot. Well, that's 2017 for you.

Gearrin has had a strange year. He's got a nice ERA (2.01) but he has also allowed 49% of his inherited runners to score. (20 of 41) And yet, Noggin kept running him out there every time there were runners on base.

What the hell was Hammer's problem with filo? This may have been discussed already...

So what keeps you from being here more often, if I may pry?

Life has gotten hectic first and foremost. Still a lack of trust is the greatest reason. People threatened exposing others (not me) personal information of where they worked/lived......lies were spread that I was a hacker (couldn't code a lick if I wanted to) intent on shutting this place down among other things.

Just seemed to personal and not as much fun anymore.

That said, hell of a game pitched by Cainer, so as not to distract from his day. Hell of a day. I guess it's fitting he exits the way he entered (and lived).

The previous owner of the site was a fucking nozzle. He had so much hate in him (not only the Giants, but the Giants were high on the list) and he couldn’t separate his hatred from being a professional.

Then one of the other boards went Disney so we had a huge influx of new posters, and they were kinda dickheads as well. Hammer hated them, but still directed them to troll-bomb our board. That pretty much was the last straw for a few of our guys (GP and FILO, mainly). I don’t remember if that was before or after I got booted from the admin board.
