Well I predicted GB would only score 14 points this game since we're normally slow out of the gates and Rodgers plays like one total quarter in the preseason. I think their is potential with the Hawks wrs but they're for the most part unproven outside of Baldwin. Mcevoy is your Megatron but Seattle rarely uses him.

With kearse gone, I think Richardson with his speed could be a good #2 and Lockett will get better once he knocks off the rust. Only time will tell.

Did your feelings get hurt? I sincerely hope so. :D
Yes, I'm sure you do hope for something like that, it'll make all the rejection you face in real life bearable. In the mean time, don't flatter yourself, passive aggressive posters are a dime a dozen on these football threads. :heh:

That means Cable better be staring at a screen 24/7 up to the Niners game figuring out line schemes and getting these guys to look like actual NFL players.
If the Seahawks have the same problem against the 49ers, I'll start worrying, but I don't see that happening.

We lost, was too be expected. Our OL sucked, we are not surprised at that either, but it's time to speed up the tempo like we did in the 4th. If we can't block the opponents D, let's tire them out and let Russ do his thing. And the Packers D played better than a lot expected, all things considered the smart money was on the packers to win and they did. All Seahawk fans know we suck early in the year and are hoping our depth on D will pay off after week 12. Been a good formula for us over the past five years for the most part.

Great post. Hawks have played poorly in offense in the first games in the past. GB defense gets trash by the talking heads due to last season. Many forget we lost our #1 CB for the season and the #2 and #3 cbs missed 12 games and played hurt in the rest. We upgraded our cbs in the draft and free agency combine that with all pro safeties and a beast of a d line that has starting quality players on the bench and the pack defense is a top ten defense in terms of talent. Our defensive coordinator is terrible though.

I understand that it's subjective and noted that you said likely. I just gave my opinion based on the current evidence and to me the Texans appear to be the best front seven. ET can still fly. Sherman has always held and Cam is known for big hits and not excellent coverage.

Honestly your response was the most reasonable I've encountered today. I tip my cap to you sir.

My wife was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin so I adopted the Packers as my second favorite team. I am a native Texan and have been a Cowboys fan all my life.

Nice, Seahawks are actually my second team that I root for except when facing the pack. I just despise their new bandwagon d bag fans.

Your a hoot! Having you for a Packer fan is like a gift from the football Gods
He is kinda refreshing and I think he learned the term Bandwagon today. The Seahawks like any team have bandwagon fans, but our track record of support for the team since it's inception is second to none, except for duration, but from 1976 the 12's have always existed loyally( Tip of the hat to UW Fans for making Seattle football crazy) and I can vouch for that being a 3rd Generation Seattleite. Of course, it's a lot different city than I grew up in, on so many aspects.

Thanks and I'd credit your D as the main factor for your win. tHE MORE OUR oFFENSE WAS ON THE SIDELINES THE MORE RODGERS AND COMPANY WORE DOWN OUR d. There should be a pedal on the floor for cap locks.

I'm an excellent fan. I just call out some Hawks fans on their nonsense. Some are ok but many have been dreadful. I used to enjoy the Hawks but the new bandwagon fans made it difficult to enjoy watching them anymore. Combine that with Bennett, Sherman and other cheapshot artists from the Hawks I began to see what they have turned into overtime the years. I almost feel sorry for rw and what he has to put up with. However that paycheck and hot wife can make other things easier to tolerate.

Calling Seahawks fans bandwagon is such a worn out chestnut. About par from what I expect from you though.:rolleyes2:

Gotcha, I thought you were yelling at me for a second. The three and outs by the offense just wore out your defense just like the Giants vs the Pack in the postseason last year. Carson must have more carries as he can assist the offense in gaining more first down.

I never said all sea fans but a good portion of them. This is from experience from going to Hawks games for the last 20 years and living in Seattle for that time frame. Other good Seahawks fans have agreed with me on this.

Oh plenty of causal fans that would qualify as bandwagon. Nothing wrong with that, pretty sure every successful team has those. Which ever team gets on a run during the playoffs will have those bandwagon fans. It's not anything unique to the Seahawks. So what's your point?

Yeah, but it's only one game. What cost the Seahawks the win today, was they couldn't run the ball. If that continue throughout the season, Seattle will be in deep do-do. Check out the TOP, Packers 39.13, Seahawk 20.47. That is a telling stat!!!

I expected our line to struggle today honestly... Give the Packers credit upfront, they did a good job.. Our O-line is gonna need some time to gel... It's 1 game I'm not worried yet...

What was your opinion on the non call on the Jimmy Graham throw at the back of the endzone?
Are you talking about Brice running into Graham? Are you talking about Graham grabbing Brice's helmet in both hands and pushing him down to the ground? Are you talking about the ball being uncatchable? Could you be more specific please?

Lane is terrible and the rookie looked better I'm. I do hate that the players are automatically ejected. If anyone should've been ejected it was Martellous (sp) Bennett for that dumb late hit.

Nah, I'd take Lane over the rookie all day, the bottom line is Lane never through a punch, he didn't even initiate the contact.. And yeah I hear ya, Bennett was pretty physical with that push, but I'm ok with him not getting ejected, it wasn't a punch, just a good solid push.. But I hear ya, if the refs are gonna call it one way call it the other way... Good win though, I was just PISSED at the refs today, just venting ... We had our chances and some play's we should a made... It's hard as @#$^@# to win at Lambeau, just like at the Clink, home field is big for both squads...

It's a long story but I'll just say I have had bad experiences with many Hawks fans and not impressed with the new fans at all. Again, this is just a personal experience and this isn't all hawks fans but majority I've encountered over 20 years has given me an unfavorable opinion on many of them. The good Hawks fans the one's that have been fans for a while and are fans of the NFL meaning educated on the rest of the NFL they have agreed with me on my assessments. I know it would be difficult for you to understand. Like I said I use to love the Hawks back in the Iron Mike days and in the Kingdom but over time many of the fans have been a major turnoff.

I thought Bennett should've been ejected and was very disappointed with him. Lane didn't deserve an ejection as there was no real punch. The old rule does hold true that the second guy gets caught.

I just accept that the refs will be trash and that we have to beat the team and the refs. Today the calls and non calls were actually fairly equal. However the Hawks were more apparent as they were on scoring plays. Nothing we can do about it so no reason to waste time bitching imo
