I'm not the person to ask about Pete Rose, but some HOFers would be great but remember the steroid era kind of tainted some major league records.

How would you ever appease all the fans with just including some parks and HOFers? I'd prolly go with pennants of all the teams with a neutral baseball background... But thats just me.

Actually....it could be done quite easily JS.

REAL baseball purists don't care what team a great player played for....they care about the contributions that they gave to the game itself.

A banner with DiMaggio, Clemente, Koufax, Mays, Ruth, Mantle etc...etc would be awesome.

I love the idea of classic parks and all-time players. Maybe we should see who everyone wants to see and go from there. What are the dimensions for the banner btw?

I think it should be an honorary thing. Honor the current holders of each title. For example, right now, it should the Giants big in the middle next to the rangers (pronounced, but not as much). Flanking them should be the Phils, Reds, Twinks and Rays. MAYBE add the Spanks and Braves as well. To represent each team, either their team logo, or some image that is synonymous with the team. Seeing what ou did on the Niner board, I trust you will do something quite tasteful and appropriate

No one can argue that format. No favorites, not controversy. Honor what we all watch these guys try to achieve.
