Stop talking about lending your hand on my sack. Your obsession is just getting weird now.Just lending a helping hand, sport. You gonna sack up or not?

I saw where Speight and O'Korn were separating themselves from the rest of the QBs, which is not a good thing. When do you think McCaffrey gets the keys to the offense?I could predict or hope for UM to beat down OSU, but as most OSU fans on here know -- I just give my honest opinion.
No reason to sugarcoat or throw off the wall comments out. Fact is -- UM hasn't even named the starting QB yet, we don't know who is starting at over half of their positions. So until anyone gets to see them play, who knows what we have?
If I had to pick right now -- I'd say OSU and PSU win comfortably against UM. By the time they play, it could be completely different. UM could have a starting lineup consisting of mostly true freshman and sophomores.

That's cool. The only thing I really miss about living in Ohio was Buckeye games in Columbus. Went to @ least 1 game every year from 1984 until 2005.
I'll take it since I actually think OU keeps it close. If @Across The Field is gonna give me the 20, I'm down. I should add, I also have an avy bet w/ @Chewbaccer for the UGA/ND game, which is the same day, and time.

I already made the bet. Are you truly this dumb?Just like I thought. Pussy.
Nope. You're a douchebag.

LOL so what? Eric offered first. And refused to take it with an actual Oklahoma fan after @ericd7633 said he'd step aside.

Yeah but it's way more fun for me to watch you throw a hissy fit.And said hed step aside so you could bet with an actual OU fan. He has no dog in this fight.
I hope Speight wins the job again
That is a lofty progression, but it seems like he has the talent if he's anything like his brother. If Peters isn't making starts this year, I can't imagine you guys would be happy. That is to say, unless Speight becomes more than just a run of the mill game manager.McCaffrey has raw talent that needs to be developed. He has a lot to learn and will likely be red-shirted this year. He is, however, Michigan's QB of the future, IMO. Behind Speight and O'Korn is Brandon Peters, another very talented QB who will likely compete with McCaffrey but could emerge this year if Speight and O'Korn falter. Harbaugh wants to see consistency, “The biggest thing I want to see out of the quarterback is who can consistently move the team – get first downs, and put points on the board eventually.”
Compare Tom Brady's progress at Michigan to McCaffrey's likely path: Brady was red-shirted as a college freshman in 1995, then threw only 20 passes (but completing 15) in his first two years of action at Michigan. As a redshirt sophomore, he cleaned up for the starter Brian Griese as the Wolverines won 12 games and the 1997 national championship. Brady took over in 1998, but Michigan lost its first two games. He and Drew Henson then competed for the position, which Brady finally won.
Yeah I know Harbaugh likes being super secretive. They haven't even updated their official roster yet. I find it hard to believe Speight suddenly becomes all-world. He's just an average QB, a game manager. He's like a poor man's Craig Krenzel. If Peters isn't starting by Halloween, I can't see that being a good thing for his progression. You can't believe anything you read from UM's coaching staff before the season starts. They fill the media with all kinds of BS. That is much of the reason, no one really knows who will start anywhere. Personally, I think Speight will be the starter to begin the year, but I see Peters taking over at some point.
Don't think they want Peters first start to be on the road against a defense like Florida. We shall see though. If Speight progresses like every QB has under Harbaugh, he may not give up the starting job. Selfishly, I want Peters to start, because I see this year as a learning year for all the new starters and next year being the year they will be really good.

I think if you look at a player on by his tenure, you're gonna lose. The job is to put the best guy out there. I'm not sure what you see in Speight, but he is a very average college QB. He has great size, but below average athleticism, decent arm strength and isn't a playmaker at the position by any means. Of his 18 TDs last year, 11 came in games vs. Hawaii, UCF, Illinois and Maryland. Otherwise he was not really good. If he's the starter by year's end, I don't think michigan will be in contention for the B1G East.Speight has all the tools to be an excellent QB (although most Michigan fans don't want to admit that). What he lacked last year was experience and confidence. My guess is that he'll be a much improved player this year. If that proves not to be the case, I think Peters is Michigan's QB.
Again, think about Tom Brady's development, and let me remind you that he was the 199th pick in the NFL. He was not a flashy player--he developed his calm demeanor, consistency, and perseverance at Michigan. With very few exceptions, that's how Michigan develops QBs. Historically, you don't see Michigan starting freshman (or even redshirt freshman) QBs.
