I've gotta go with USC. Michigan fans might have more delusions of grandeur(How to you go nearly 70 years without a title and retain blue blood status?), but USC fans in my experience are the most defensive.

1997 is hardly 70 years. It was during the poll era but it's still a national championship. And before you respond remember that saying Michigan's NC isn't real means any national championship prior BCS isn't either.
