Top 4 would be:

Bell/DJ
Elliot
McCoy

After that, it's pretty much a wash for me.

Yeah when it comes to fantasy, NE RBs are a total gamble

Was it Jonas Gray a couple years back that had a 200 yard game, and no carries the following week?

Yes. He was benched because he was late to a practice.

If Kizer picks that offense up quick that offense could sneak up on some teams this season. There are some pieces for a smart offensive coach to work with if the QB is semi-functional.

I like Kizer's potential...just not this season. Talent...Osweiler should win that job. Production...it wouldn't surprise me to see Kessler starting. Kizer probably won't the keys until they are eliminated from the playoffs. Of course that could be week 8.

I would've kept Barndige, but you have to like the moves the Browns have made bringing in the vets on the OL, and the drafts with this regime...2018 might yield a winning season.

Don't tell anyone but I secretley really like what the Browns are doing on both sides of the ball. I really think it's all going to depend on Kizer in the next year or two. They get a QB and watch out. That running game opens up. The defense gets to pick their battles a little more. Could be something there.

Maybe I am reading too much into offseason chatter, but there's some talk of Kizer forcing his way into the job. Maybe not week 1, but I definitely think it will be this year; maybe early even. As for production, yeah I don't really think he's likely ready but generally these redshirts don't end up being redshirts without a credible starter: Something the Browns don't have.

I haven't read much actually so you could be on to something with Kizer playing early.

IMO, that might be a mistake for week one, but who are we kidding? The Browns are not going to the playoffs this season and we know Kessler is not the long term answer. They wouldn't have drafted Kizer if they felt Osweiler was the answer.

By week 4, 5, or 6...I can see them saying, let's get the kid ready for next year and playing him that early.

I think the Browns have to start Kizer. He probably isnt ready but that team isnt ready. Osweiler and Kessler are nice but you have to think that their future is on a different team so I dont see the point in developing them so another team can benefit down the road. The only way Kessler should start is if he is far and away the better QB to the point where Kizer becomes the outcast.

They got rid of Gary Barnidge and have Britt and Coleman on the outside so they need the guy with the best deep ball. It wouldn't shock me at all if Kizer has the best arm.

The Browns also have a good enough oline to bring a young guy up which is super rare on a bad team. I know Browns fans like Kessler but I think its a no brainer to play Kizer.

Coleman is a big wildcard for them - difference between a mediocre team and a horrid team. Guy is coming out of Bust U (Baylor) but he is also quick enough to be almost impossible to cover. Coleman's run blocking was a 0/10 coming out of college so he obviously has to at least put some effort in that and stay healthy this year.

I'm sure Ty Montgomery will be on most top ten RB lists after this season. The dude averaged 6 YPC, the most yards after contact and literally had no training as a RB so imagine how good he will be with a full off season of training.

You've been warned

I don't know what to expect out of Monthomery. Just such a small sampling . Literally 1/3 of his yards came in one game vs the Bears. Other than that he was pretty irrelevant BUT with a full off-season and obvious talent you never know

As an all purpose guy, Johnson is very much on par with Bell

Especially considering Bell is always a no show for Pittsburgh when they really need him

Not on my list he isn't. Bell's vision put him head and shoulders above the rest. Don't get me wrong, I like DJ and think he is great on 3rd downs and in open field, but I think he is not quite as good as everyone thinks and definitely not as good as Bell in my book.
DJ 80 rec on 120 targets = 67%. I certainly haven't gone back and looked at all of these attempts of course, but that is a horrible %. I know a lot has to do with the QB, but that is the lowest % of any RB with 30 or more receptions and the average of all the others is 77%. And by the way he was 63% the year before with Palmer so it doesn't seem a one year or QB thing. Offsetting this is he also had one of the higher YPR, but not sure that was because he was running much deeper patterns.

Bell 75/94 - 80%
Elliott smaller sample size 32/40 - 80%
Other RBs without great QBs and with 50 rec:
Powell 58 rec 78%
Duke Johnson 53 rec 74%
Yeldon 50 rec 74%

The best ability is availability... If that weren't true, then Bell would top everyone's list without question. Wouldn't be debatable.

The top 3 is clear but the order remain subjective.
I remain good with our guy and look forward to him remaining on the field in 3rd and long situations this season.
