I'll still take Texas women over pretty much ANYTHING Ohio has to offer......Michigan too. Have at it boys, they're all yours.......

Remember the Texas vs Nebraska game, sometime aroun '07 or '8? The one where Jamaal Charles had over 100 yards in the fourth quarter.

Anyway, there was a couple Michigan guys sitting behinds us. Were in town for work, came to see a football game. Anyway, they missed most of the game. They were watching the parade of tan Texas co-eds going up and down the steps just to the left of us, in those thin paper dresses and cowboy boots. One of the Michigan guys tapped me on the shoulder, "we dont have NOTHING like that back home".

Always sticks out in my memories for some reason.

nope..... they wanted him more than i did. VT was never going to get him but cut us loose when we cut one of his boys loose from last years class for lying about a visit he took.

they cooled on Curtis Grant years ago though and i view them in similar fashions

i didn't realize 247 had him down to a 93 4*......i would actually agree with that. Not a 5* though.

So, saw something about Texas being #5 now in some rankings? Of course it's very, very early and does not mean much now.

Also read about the quality of the commits, think only OSU had a higher quality ranking. And that includes a kicker being one of the Texas commits.

Hopeful this continues, and that Texas takes all of the top in-state talent this year.

Not even vaguely concerned at this point. Herman knew he was going to commit and didn't tell him to wait.......he knew what he was signing up for when he landed this kid.

There are some things going on behind the scenes I'm not sure you're aware of.......this kid is all Texas right now. He's going to take his visits, but if you think Herman didn't plan for this, you're sadly mistaken. Don't take losing this kid personally.
