Series Thread: Eastern Conference Final - Sens vs Pens

Schultz had an impact tonight. Mostly unspectacular, but stepped up in big moments. Good to have a guy with skill back on the blue line.

Kunitz was also big. And Scott Wilson had a tremendous game. Dumoulin was outstanding in the OT, and Sid, Phil, and Geno all three took over plays when they had the puck on their sticks.

Anderson held off the onslaught for over an entire OT period, but the Sens never really got anything going the other way. The Pens finally cashed in.

Good series, Sens fans.

I look forward to the Finals. Should be a pretty interesting stylistic matchup.

Would have liked to see Ottawa win and win the whole thing.

Would have made a nice story. On Canada's Bicentennial (150) the Stanley cup returns to Canada in it's nations capital.

Man, Anderson was near perfect. And it took two perfect screens to beat him.

Lots of credit to Ottawa. I didn't think they deserved to be here after two games. But they were pretty damn resilient, and so dangerous when the game opened up. Karlsson phenomenal, you don't notice all the little things he does on D until you really watch a full series.

But... you're done! We're going to the cup, baby!

It wasn't a deflection. Kunitz just mishit it and it floated in, a little knuckle baller off the top of his blade. But yeah, certainly not the goalie's fault.
