With Leonard being out tonight its going to be a tough road for San Antonio no matter what nonsense Popovich spews to fire them up. If they go down 2-oh they are probably done.

Here I'll do you the favor of quoting this so you don't have to look for it. Just total clowniness.

Wait, you said the Cavs were gonna beat the Warriors. How are they going to do that if the Spurs are going to beat them? at your concern trolling, still got it!

Also, this directly contradicts yourself in this exact thread, post #836

Someday you'll realize something we already know: you are a total clown.
Don't count the Spurs out now that Leonard is healthy. Should the Dubs get through though its Cavs in 6; mark it down. LOL! I ahven't heard the term "concern troll" used by an adult in ages. Too funny!

I was correct, GS blew them out. Now that Leonard is cleared for game 3 though its not a done deal. Hold serve at home, as every good team should, and its a new ball game.

But "they are probably done" as you said. You're a really insightful analyst. Spurs are done, unless they aren't.

They are giving up 105 points per game so far and have played exactly 1 game where their defense was at the level of last year.

Soooo, good luck with that.

If you watched the game they played great D in the first half for the most part. The total points scored in the end doesnt mean shit in this game. Game was over by the 4th.

38 points allowed in 1st half after Isiah sunk a deep 3. Meanwhile, the Warriors give up 100 to a team without TP and Kawhi then they give up 62 to the Spurs in game one with Kawhi in :laugh3:

Warriors will be fine. They have a dirty little fuck on that team that likes to take out the oppositions best player to get the edge :thumb:
Almost every team in the NBA has that "dirty little fuck" on their team, that likes to take out the oppositions best player to get the edge. It has been that way since I have watched the NBA and that was in 1957.

Lebron won't be getting all those easy layups he got last night.. And Warriors won't be missing a gazillion open shots like the The Celtics were last night.

Cavs need to up the Defense maybe 4-5 notches to have a real shot.

The Warriors can DESTROY your spirits pretty quick with that efficient offense of theirs. Lebron is good but he would need to average more like 45-50 ppg to beat the Warriors with Durant.

I dont see Irving/Love getting being deadly factors in a series with the Warriors. Thompson will help out somewhat but Warriors will make adjustments on him. If they can keep Aldridge/Gasol at bay, I dont think Thompson will be too much of a problem

Good? 45-50? LMAO what an idiot

So they've played 1.5 playoff games at the defensive level they played last year.

Gee...how impressive. :rolleyes2:

Do Cavs fans actually watch basketball games?

You really don't see the Cavs playing at a different level in the playoffs vs the regular season?

Defensively, they have in 1.5 games. Their offense seems just as good or even slightly better though, imo.

But if they think they are just going to outscore the Warriors, it likely won't end well for them. They are going to have to play at least very good defense consistently.

Well yeah, but they are showing they have the ability to do so.

They have definitely shown they can dial up the defense in spurts. My question is...can they do it consistently? If they can, I think we are in for an epic series.

If they can't, it could get ugly.

I personally am thinking they can, and Warriors will need 7 games to win. But I think they will indeed pull it off.

Remember even if the Warriors are getting lots of open looks, they sometimes go cold.

I hope they can. Not because I want them to win, but because I want to see a great series.

was gonna ask what kinda Dubs fan is Montalban...?

CitySushi said it best above. He's what's called a 'weak fan'. Always predicts his team to lose, so he's either 'so smart' or 'gee so happy they won!'. And the best part is, the guy just keeps doing it no matter how much he gets destroyed here.
