With Leonard being out tonight its going to be a tough road for San Antonio no matter what nonsense Popovich spews to fire them up. If they go down 2-oh they are probably done.

I was correct, GS blew them out. Now that Leonard is cleared for game 3 though its not a done deal. Hold serve at home, as every good team should, and its a new ball game.

They are giving up 105 points per game so far and have played exactly 1 game where their defense was at the level of last year.

If you watched the game they played great D in the first half for the most part. The total points scored in the end doesnt mean shit in this game. Game was over by the 4th.

Lebron won't be getting all those easy layups he got last night.. And Warriors won't be missing a gazillion open shots like the The Celtics were last night.

Cavs need to up the Defense maybe 4-5 notches to have a real shot.

The Warriors can DESTROY your spirits pretty quick with that efficient offense of theirs. Lebron is good but he would need to average more like 45-50 ppg to beat the Warriors with Durant.

I dont see Irving/Love getting being deadly factors in a series with the Warriors. Thompson will help out somewhat but Warriors will make adjustments on him. If they can keep Aldridge/Gasol at bay, I dont think Thompson will be too much of a problem

Defensively, they have in 1.5 games. Their offense seems just as good or even slightly better though, imo.

But if they think they are just going to outscore the Warriors, it likely won't end well for them. They are going to have to play at least very good defense consistently.

They have definitely shown they can dial up the defense in spurts. My question is...can they do it consistently? If they can, I think we are in for an epic series.

If they can't, it could get ugly.

I personally am thinking they can, and Warriors will need 7 games to win. But I think they will indeed pull it off.

Remember even if the Warriors are getting lots of open looks, they sometimes go cold.
