where he went 4-0...

with 11 TD's to 0 picks
yet still completing less than 58% of his passes...

he has a record of 29-29
he has a rating of 82.5

before that magical 4 games in 2012?

he had a record of 44-20
he had a rating of 86.0

So how many other current or former QB's do you have an issue with? Wouldn't it just be a lot easier to say that every QB that ever played sucks except Brady?:D

Which of these 4 QBs do you want (career #s)?

62% comp, 11.2 y/c, 4.0 TD%, 2.5 INT%
60% comp, 12.1 y/c, 4.3 TD%, 1.8 INT%
62% comp, 11.2 y/c, 3.8 TD%, 2.5 INT%
65% comp, 11.6 y/c, 4.6 TD%, 2.6 INT%

My guess is that Flacco would be the worst of them

But for me, stats only tell a small part of the story

Ive seen Flacco have one of the greatest (maybe the greatest) postseason runs of all time, and have some success in other playoff years

Andy Dalton is one of the worst postseason QB's ive seen with these 2 eyes in my life, and the sampling has gotten pretty large now

Tannehill is a mistake waiting to happen, more ill advised sacks and INT's than most QB's in the league, and I would be shocked if he ever won big in this league

And Kapernick simply regressed once forced into the pocket...I loved his game once upon a time, just no longer that QB

Who cares? Flacco's the only QB in history to win a playoff game each of his 1st five seasons. I don't consider him elite or anything. How many NFL games has Palko started again?

Joe Flacco and Eli Manning are shining examples of how the playoffs are often a crapshoot. Hell, even the Pats cameback down 28-3 in the SB late in the 3rd.

Raw talent, discipline, and determination.

what did i say that was actually wrong?

It's not that you really said anything wrong it's just hilarious you've convinced yourself every QB not named Tom Brady sucks.

Isn't Steve Smith the obvious answer?

Actually it is, and leads me to my point. At that point in his career, he really was more of a WR2...the last 3 seasons imo Flacco hasn't really had a true WR1.

The point was that the 4 aren't separated by much, and their success has more to do with the team and program surrounding them than their individual talents.

The stats were Tannehill, Kaep, Flacco and Dalton in that order, btw.

IMO he was more held back by injury than any loss of talent. 79 catches in 16 games, 46 in 7, and 70 in 14 last year. The only receivers to catch more for Flacco were Derrick Mason (80 in Flacco's rookier season) and Pitta last year with 86.

I didn't say he couldn't play anymore, but having watched most of his career in CAR playing in the NFCS, I think he had lost a little bit when he went to BAL....certainly lost enough to no longer be considered a WR1. He was just the best WR BAL had.

Without question....Its a well known fact that the Ravens draft a WR fairly high almost every season because of their never ending search for a #1 WR
