The 2-4 Steelers are back to work this week getting ready to see if they can put two wins together back to back.
The opponent is the 0-6 Miami Dolphins...yes, the same team they acquired Minkah Fitzpatrick from a few of weeks ago. Clearly the Dolphins are playing for the 2020 draft to launch the rebuild. They have given up a staggering amount of points thru 6 games, but they have shown some competitiveness the last two games. In fact they were the more than just competitive in BUF...that was a one possession game in the 4th QTR after MIA scored to make it 21-24 (on a scramble by the old man Fitz at that) and BUF took back the onside kick attempt for 6 for the final margin.
I'm sure they would like to boost the value of that 1st round pick they are getting from PIT for Minkah with a win over the Steelers.

Statistically these teams are a lot closer than you might think on OFC. What starts to tilt this game in favor of the Steelers is the DEF performance. Vegas has PIT -14.5...that's an awful lot of points to give up to a Rudolph led team, but I do feel pretty good about the win. In spite of Tomlin's penchant for losing these type games...I think they will beat the Dolphins...I'm thinking 24-17.
