DH12 says he wants to be traded to Nets.
Orlando wants to file tampering charges against the Nets and Rockets for talking to DH12.

Stern killed Paul trade.

Warriors want to build an arena in SF.

I need some TUMS.

It is looking like they should have bargained more and tried for a franchise tag like the NFL.

I'm looking at it as DH12 and Nene playing for the Nets.

Yeah. If the Russian Billionaire and Jigga are willing to take on Hedo's contract (and step firmly into the luxury tax), there is no reason why both won't be wearing Brooklyn/NJ jerseys. If it's okay with David Stern, of course. Oh mighty ruler of all that is evil.

The world would be a better place without basketball. Once the nba reached a agreement on their labor issue a negative vibe has hit the world. This is just the begining, id hate to see what the future will bring.

It's one thing for Stern to veto a trade by the Hornets, since they technically do not have an owner. But if he were to try to step in and veto a trade between a team owned by Mikhail Prokhorov and Rich DeVos, I have a feeling that high-priced lawyers would be so far up Stern's ayss that he's be sneezing silk ties for weeks.

If DH12 wants to be a part of the Nets, he's going to be a part of the Nets.

By the way, players can be fined for officially demanding a trade - and can be fined even larger amounts if they mention specific teams. So what we are going to hear more and more often these days are statements like, "DH12 has no interest in signing a long-term extension with (insert team that DH12 does not want to go to)." It is not a trade demand, so he cannot be fined, but it will do enough to scare off GMs from those teams.

Pretty soon, the battle for an NBA title will be fought between the top 3 or 4 teams and every other team will just be vying for bragging rights as the top team not in the title chase - kinda like the BCS in college football.

Agreed on all counts (well, maybe 6 teams). Sadly, there are enough natural bandwagon jumpers to make this a viable business model. For all the complaining about the BCS, few things are more popular than college football.
