A date needs to be set for the draft, September 4th at 8pm is a no go for me.

Trades -
There is no limit on the number of trades you have/do. There is a 2 day window to review the trade(s), and the trade can be vetoed 4 people vote so. Don't veto just to be a dick or prevent someone from winning. I've been in Fantasy Football Leagues for quite a while now, and I've only known one person to get pissy about trades. The deadline to make trades is Wednesday, November 23rd at noon ET.

Schedule -
The regular season goes through Week 13. After that, the top 4 teams continue into the playoffs, with seeds 1 & 4, 2 & 3 being matched up. If there is a tie, when it concerns seeding, your total points will be the tie breaker. The 1st round lasts for Weeks 14 & 15 and the 2nd round is Weeks 16 & 17.

Random Shit -
ESPN, in it's infinite wisdom, has allowed the League Manager to make trophies for certain things, ie. Last Place, Best Regular Season Record, Biggest Win. . . I can create new ones.

I can either use the trophy images provided or find something off of the internet. If you have an idea, send it my way. We'll work it in.

I don't like drafting before preseason because injuries can happen.

I really don't have a preference. Although I think Boise has a good point. Especially with the offseason being so crazy, it might be a game or two into the preseason before everything is figured out. So I'd say weeks 2-4 of preseason.

I agree with the above. Week 3 or 4 of preseason would be best. If it's computer generated, let's just do it a couple days after the last preseason game, give ourselves a last chance to reshuffle our boards.

I prefer to draft sometime around mid to late preseason. As far as specific days, i'm usually off on Sun & Tue so those 2 days would work best for me.

Will this be a live serpentine draft, auction, or autopick?

I'm not a big fan of autopick but if that's the decision I'll make it work.
I decided to try auction drafts for the first time last season and have to say it was pretty good. A lot more strategy involved than in a serpentine draft. imo

It's a snake draft. I scheduled it for Thursday, Sept 1st at 8pm EASTERN. To be fair, the draft order will be randomized one hour before the start of the draft. If this date doesn't work, I can always change it.
