Release the Kraken - Fuck the Canucks
Kind of big series to open the 'second half' tomorrow and it begins with a sold out game.
12 of the next 20 are against Houston and NY. Then out of the last 49 games only one 3 game set against Atlanta is versus a solid team.
Trade deadline is looming on the horizon.
Will they make a big splash move? Can they keep up the good play they have had so far against Houston and at least stay fairly level against the Yankees?
Can they continue to stay healthy in the starting rotation and avoid major injuries down to the wire?
Is this the year my friends? Can they shake off the streak of Years without a playoff appearance? Or, will history repeat itself and the ever hapless M's find another method of pissing away another opportunity?
Lots of questions, but it should be a fun summer. The Jrod show seems legit. Gilbert is fun to watch grow. We have a few decent hitters with more pending return.
I'll be going to a game for the first time in more than two years when the angels come to town.
