I'm looking forward to seeing this guy. There's not as much excitement around starting pitchers lately. A lot of the best ones are getting old and/or injured. He'll be making his debut on Saturday against the Cubs.

Who is Olivia? Will Olivia come and steal the show?
Who is Olivia?
Oh I see her now. She's cute. And this guy hasn't even made it yet. It's amazing Kelce has won multiple super bowls and he's still hanging out with that hag that does the singing and whatnot.Livvy

Could be another Strasburg too...great for a few years, then his arm falls off. It's a crapshoot.Watched Skenes a lot with LSU last year. He has some filthy stuff. Really good slider to go with the 100mph gas. He could be a future Cy winner. Of course, one could have said the same thing about Todd Van Poppel, Paul Wilson, David Clyde, Mark Appel, and on and on and on
Injuries have really fucked with Cruz's development, but he's really got to cut down on the K's. I think Davis will be fine
Absolutely! Just wonder how long he can keep up throwing 101+ though. I really hope it will be a long time. The guy seems to be a winner in every aspect of life.
The Pirates could have a pretty scary rotation fairly soon between Skenes, Jared Jones and Mitch Keller.
If it comes to fruition, I'm not sure how much it will matter in terms of winning if the hitting doesn't improve. For a smaller market club, the Pirates have a lot of money tied up in Bryan Reynolds and KeBryan Hayes for them to be slugging under .400 in the middle of May, and Oneil Cruz and Henry Davis have yet to develop as expected, though it's still too soon to write them off.
There is not much in terms of hitting prospects in the upper minors right now.
I was about to say no one is showing up to sit through a baseball game for a chance to get a glimpse of some gymnast, but apparently she has 10 million followers so maybe you're onto something.Absolutely! I've been to PNC park and I really liked it! So he also has that going for him. But I think now the Pirates will start spending more now that he and Olivia are there. Fans might show up just to see if they could get a glimpse of her and certainly if Skenes is pitching!

Yeah, he was, like hitting an aspirin in a snowstorm for the Cubbies today.he was NASTY today
