Lasties have nobody hitting under .200 in their lineup tonight. M's have 3.

They have scored 31 more runs on the season than the M's.

Hey look, another "great pitching matchup" (better than saying the M's bats are horse shit) between us and team that's 1 game over .500

AS I WAS TYPING THIS, Polanco hit a homer with 2 out in the 3rd lol.

lol, m's were on a roll with 3 consecutive hits and 2 runs scored with no outs.

then Rojas makes a truly horrendous baserunning blunder forgetting there were no outs, and ran like there were 2 out on a line drive that Julio (predictably) hit into the SS glove.

fucking idiots.

I guess Rojas missed the memo on base running when they clearly explain how you’re supposed to freeze on a line drive to an infielder, so you can be certain to get back to the base

Bizarre statistic of the night:

Dylan Moore now has the same number of home runs as all pro superstar Julio Rodriguez (1)

Correction… D-Mo has twice as many home runs as the $400 million man known as Julio Rodriguez hahaha (2-1)

Sooner or later, Julio is going to figure out when you’re always in the top 10 in the league in strikeouts pitchers won’t throw you too many good pitches, when they know you’re gonna wave at everything off the plate and go back to the dugout with a pout on your face and a big K hanging on the scoreboard.

And the Astros have the bases loaded

Our relief pitching set up men leave a lot to be desired. Fielding mistakes, walking the lead off batter, tube shot fastballs right down the pipe…

And just like that, our two run lead is gone, and the Astros are up 4-3

Another extreme quality start by George Kirby just gone to waste

And now the Houston Astros have the bases loaded once again after they’ve cleared them off and all three have scored

A bunch of blunders and bases on balls and a few scattered hits and a bunt.

This one’s over. and the Rangers got whooped up on. could’ve gained a complete full game

Walked in a run and yes, the bases are still loaded

I can’t stand the pain. I’m checking out.

This is what happens when 3 runs for our team is a literal offensive explosion and the pitching staff isn't performing at an otherworldly / historic level.

That kind of pitching = unsustainable

That kind of offense = totally sustainable / the norm

The stros can hit. It's their pitching that has struggled. Nothing like facing the M's to get your team back upright from the mound.

And that's Mariners Baseball.... Fucking another base running mental mind fuck to end the inning.

This is the worst offense they've had in a decade. Change my mind.

.140 struck out. Weird.
Then .147 ends the game with another weak K

This is what this team is this year.

The more things change, blah blah blah. That was a win we let them have. I called it at home as soon as Thornton entered the game. He is a mop up pitcher not a tight sit pitcher. Funny because after I said it at home my brother texted me the same thing. Of course I really don't know who are 7th inning guy should be these days. I did in the winter...

George Kirby has been dealing with a right knee injury, and Servais said that was why he was pulled after 6 innings.

Julio Rodriguez owned up to the base-running gaffe in the 8th inning.“I just didn't pick up (Rojas) on third. … I should have done that and not assume that he was gonna go (home) on that throw.”

Loss was absolutely 100000000% on Servais. Pulled Kirby at just 88 pitches after 6IP caused the loss. Sick and tired of a dumbass manager continuing to cost games.
