Chris Harris officially retires

One of the most underrated CB's in the NFL of my time, IMO.

He got his love from Bronco Nation though.

A guy who I wasn't excited about even as an undrafted FA and proved me WAY wrong.

One of the great stories in Bronco lore .. From an undrafted FA to the face of the No Fly Zone and arguably the best defense this team ever fielded ..

And a very memorable off the field moment, too

Back around 2013/14 on KFFL, I put Harris on my Top 10 all time Broncos to the tune of WHOOOA, TOO SOON ... It wasn't and he still is

On a CB related note - it was 37 years ago yesterday ( April 29 1987 ) that the Broncos selected Tyrone Braxton in the 12th round of the '87 draft ..

I had to think for a second if Braxton and Harris were ever on the field together .... it does seem like a lifetime ago Harris was a Bronco

On a CB related note - it was 37 years ago yesterday ( April 29 1987 ) that the Broncos selected Tyrone Braxton in the 12th round of the '87 draft ..

I had to think for a second if Braxton and Harris were ever on the field together .... it does seem like a lifetime ago Harris was a Bronco

I always remember Harris being in the draft the year of the lock out. When UDFA's couldn't sign with teams until right before camp started. Seemed like a cruddy year to be an UDFA.

Tyrone Braxton was a favorite player of mine - minimal athleticism but managed to make one big play after another.

Same here. After Vance it was really Mark Jackson, Braxton and Wymon Henderson for me. Of course I liked Atwater too.

I loved Mike Harden too but I think by the time I was able to REALLY pick my favorites he was gone.

Hmmm. The first one that comes to mind is Mike Anderson but that seems too easy.
