Old Lion
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain
No sense creating umpteen thread every year. Should have done this years ago.
Thursday night vs Chiefs on National TV
Just don't want to see a complete embarrassment.
Hope you can stay in the bubble.Going to miss about the first half of this game. Bummed about it
They’ve let a lot of holding calls go.We're not gonna get any calls tonight. Already saw two blatant holds on Hutch on an island right in front of the QB. Usually the most obvious holding call. Refs straight ignoring it.
I guess "let em play" helps our defense if they let it go both ways. But our d line against their o line was one area I thought we'd have an advantage.
The secondary is clearly improved. Linebackers are the same. Anzelone has been the best one.Is this standard Lions defense, or improved defense against Mahomes?
Taylor is a probably above league average Tackle, he was allowed to blatantly hold several times tonight, lined up AT LEAST a full yard further in the backfield than the rules are supposed to allow, AND false started almost every snap. And Hutchinson still came away looking like one of the best players on the field tonight. If the game gets called fairly he probably had 3 sacks tonight. But we got the win, so rather than being upset about it, we can instead be excited for future games being ref'd better. Houston also had one that would have been a sack against probably 28 other QBs.We're not gonna get any calls tonight. Already saw two blatant holds on Hutch on an island right in front of the QB. Usually the most obvious holding call. Refs straight ignoring it.
