Offensively Zunino has been a disaster, through his career. Before every season we keep saying well maybe this is the year he gets it on track, but it never seems to happen.

We need him for what exactly Scott? His ability at the plate is such trash it negates what he does in the field.

Ya I just don't get the point. He has struggled for like....ever so what is a short stay in the minors going to do for him? I say trade him for one of the Brewers catchers. They are off to great starts and even when they come down to earth they will still be better than K-Nino at his best.

I'm thinkin the whole control the zone thing probably messed with his head even more. Of course he was still bad before that but he could at least hit mistakes/fastballs before. Now he can't even do that. The new Zunino consists of striking out on 3-2 counts now instead of 0-2. Personally I think this is final nail for him. Even if he hits in AAA, who cares. It's damn shame that he was handled so poorly but I think we are past the point of no return
