I was worried when I saw it, thinking about who would fill his spot on the rotation. Call up Ryan Vogelsong? Bring up Wheeler early? Get Suppan back?

It would be a minor set-back on the field, but it would clear up SO MUCH money, that they could make a SERIOUS trade during the season if a Vogelsong/Runz/Sosa project does not pan out.

Then, we would be able to feel REAL confidant that the rest of the staff would be able to sign extensions and stay aboard.

It aint happening, though, so no reason playing "what if". But I was still hoping it was his fault so the G's could have voided the contract.
