ESPN Lions reporter Michael Rothstein says Zach Zenner "didn't do a ton to impress me" during offseason workouts.

Zenner's dominant FCS career and crazy measurables made him a favorite of #DraftTwitter. But he landed in a tough spot, as Joique Bell, Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick are all roster locks. Rothstein says if the Lions end up keeping four tailbacks, George Winn would be ahead of Zenner thanks to special teams value. That would leave Zenner as a practice squad candidate.

Bell is getting cut.

Mark that shit down. (In pencil, we'll prolly drag it out for another year before Mayhew realizes his fumbles are chronic and he can't break 4 yards per carry anyway.)

How dare you start rumors about double Z like that. Don't you understand it's our last white hope at RB?

Its unfortunate because Bell is so banged up and we need another big body back there. I guess we will be seeing alot of our new fullback.
