Eh not sure on that. He's nowhere NEAR sniffing my bust radar like Clowney was. I called that kid a bust from DAY ONE and actually (unlike RG Knee) got little rebuttal from this board. I think everyone knew that was coming.

Garrett seems like a good kid so I hope I'm wrong but nearly all his stats came vs the scrubs on A&Ms schedule . I did a breakdown around draft time and it was very disconcerting to me . Pretty much any time he faced a team with NFL caliber tackles he got shut down quite easily

Yep. Ultimately for me it was just blatahtky obvious that his pure athletic talent let him dominate vs vastly inferior opponents but when he faced dudes with similar talent he disappears . To me that points to what you mentioned . A lack of preparation , lack of desire etc

Yeah, tough break for the kid. Two weeks is very optimistic for a edge rusher with a high ankle.

Bust...He was actually looking pretty good in preseason off the edge, but I think most #1 overall edge rusher picks are probably easier to project to bust than succeed.
