If you combined regular season and play offs it comes to:

AI - 26,479 points on 21,788 shots (17 seasons)

LBJ - 27,589 points on 19,915 shots (11 seasons)

11 seasons in LeBron has scored 1,110 more points on 1,873 fewer shots with 67 fewer FTAs.

AI has also played 72 more games and has taken 3142 more attempts. It doesn't matter how you count the number will favor Lebron.

I realize this is a bit of an old school attitude and might not be the best way to choose a franchise player in the 21st Century but ....

in my opinion, LeBron would be more willing to buy into a system, work with making his teammates better, would be more coachable and be more willing to accept his role on the team than AI would.

You can have all those scoring numbers.

These are the reasons I would choose LeBron.
