No such thing as the top five - even the top 20 leaves some of the greatest out and they top 20 are so close that the order is not relevent. Thats the way I have always looked at it. I mean how can you say the top 10 even without saying Bill Walton, Bill Russell, mabe Scottie Pipen, Hakeem Olijiwan?

Worthy was the man, but I'm being asked to list my top 5. I just think Lebron's better at the position.

If I'm going to put together the best starting 5 I'm going to want that lineup to be well rounded with shooting, athleticism, size, and greatness. I respect a lot of you guys naming lineups like Bill Russell, Magic Johnson, MJ, Wilt etc but those starting lineups have no shooting.

Here's mine

PG - Magic Johnson
SG - Michael Jordan
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Lebron James
C - Hakeem Olajuwon

I thought about having Larry Bird at the sf but I feel like Durant is just as good a shooter as Bird was...not as good a rebounder...but more athletic and much faster running the court

My team would have Hakeem as the anchor in the middle. In my opinion the most skilled big man of all time. MJ would be the number one option scoring. Magic would run plays. KD would spot up and cut. Bron would co-score and co-run plays with magic and mj.
