In your opinion who are the top MLB franchises of all times. I think you could factor in whatever you want in this. Fan support, overall wins, pennants, division titles, world series, etc. Curious as to what the fans think. I google this MLB franchise ranking and all the "experts" have completely different lists from 1-30. Who's in your opinion the top 10 MLB franchises of all time. If you rank them, it would be helpful what you used to give those franchises the rankings they received.

In no order:

Cardinals, Red Sox, Yankees, Giants, Braves, Tigers, Phillies, A's, Rangers and Cubs (for their great fan base)

Honorable mentions to the two expansion teams: Rays & Dbacks for both being pretty successful in their respective small sample sizes compared to other teams on this list.

They'd still be 5th, I didn't include the one they won as the Boston Americans
I don't disagree with that ranking. They are 5th among franchises in W-L% at .517, just behind the Cardinals (.519). You'd think the Cards' win percentage would have been higher than that.

Nice list 500. I was going to make an argument for Baltimore-St. Louis over the Braves, but 3-7-12-45 doesn't make this list.

I agree, and the only reason I have the Giants and Dodgers ahead of the Sox with 8 WS is the pennants, 22 is pretty awesome.

That and the gaps in win percentages are pretty big. Rings aren't the only way to evaluate a franchise. A's have 9 titles, but their win percentage is only .487.

Baltimore would be on this list.....well if they never sold the team to Peter Angelos

The "Orioles Way" has struggled for 20 years with a horrible owner.
