I guess it would have to be 2012 for us. VT went 7-6 and beat Rutgers in the Russell Athletic Bowl (finished tied for 6th in the ACC). Either that or 1997 when we went 7-5 and lost to UNC in the Gator Bowl (finished 2nd in the Big East). The fact that we still went to bowls in our two worst years says something about Frank's program.
