I'm taking Markelle Fultz. First because in basketball I don't feel like you can go off of position need too much. There's only 5 positions, most can play at least 2 of them and also there is typically only 2, maybe 3 players each draft that turn into real stars. So combine those two and I think you simply have to take the best player available at the top and that is Fultz. So even as a Timberwolves fan, I'm taking a PG with Fultz. Even though they have Rubio, LaVine & Dunn.

Fultz, if I had to pick one.

Trade it for Whiteside if I can. Jerebko and Amir Johnson coming off the books would clear $17M. Whiteside would be at 24M.

You heard it hear first. The Kings are going to make a run at Boston. They are going to offer the #5 pick and Willie Causey Stein, and maybe a round 1 draft pick in 2020 or 21. Kings need a cornerstone player and the celtics need or want Josh Jackson. It feels like the only type of alternative to keeping the pick.

I'll be surprised if Jackson is still on the board at 5. I think it's very possible Smith will jump into the top 3 but I don't see anybody else at 4 to bump Jackson down to 5.

I'd go after Parker if I was Ainge, I'm guessing Milwaukee won't let him go, but they do have a dominant rebounder to lessen his value to them.

Damn, we were good guessers. Not only did Boston win the lottery, word is they might trade the pick and are eying Butler or George.

Porzingis and Davis are the only guys you consider trading that pick for i think. I mean- of course there are other guys---- but i mean out of guys that have ANY chance at being available.

I'm guessing you meant Prozingis and Jabari Parker, I'd definitely make either of those deals if I'm Ainge. Either could help big time right away and Horford's replacement would be on roster with 10 good years ahead of him.

I disagree. The bulls are nowhere near being a contender and won't be while Butler is still in his prime.

I agree, that's why trading him and taking Fultz might make good sense for both parties.
Fultz is 20 and would be a great player to build around.

Jason Tatum could be the guy IMO. Jackson needing anger management could hurt his stock a bit.

Tatum is a very good prospect but I'd take Jackson unless I felt there was some real red flag with him.
I do like Tatum's skill level and fluidity, Jackson is more explosive though.

Tatum is more of a stretch forward. Depends on team fit really.

Interesting. I haven't heard anyone project Tatum as a stretch forward.

My issue with Tatum is his seeming lack of explosiveness and lift. Watching his video he doesn't get very high off the floor, this could be a problem in The NBA where skill is often useless when a player isn't athletic enough to get open shots.

Ha's either a SG or SF, I don't see much difference in the 2 positions the way most teams play in today's NBA.

The one thing I would love to see out of the draft is Lonzo Ball go undrafted. The blow up from Lavar Ball would be highly entertaining.

Big Baller Brand should be the #1 pick.

So you're rooting for a good kid to suffer just so that you can watch his biggest fan (with a big mouth) suffer?

4 attempts from 3 per game for Duke. At 6'8 he normally would be a SF candidate (given his lack of foot speed), but with all of the small ball played these days, could play some undersized PF as well. Really though, it was a comparison vs Jackson, who is more of an attacking player.

Yes, that about sums it up. Do you know Lonzo Ball? Is he a nice kid?
