Not too excited about it, but it will have to do. You can't give it back to Marleau, Boyler is too volatile to be a captain in my humble opinion, Clowe plays hard for about 41 games.....Pavs was really the only other candidate.....we'll see how this works out.

Jumbo, it's time to pull your head out and grow up as a hockey player. Stop making the fantasy GM's happy and go out and make this team win at all costs.

Disagree here. Then again, I'm of the mind that currently, nobody on the team is Captain material.

Great pick. If anyone agrues with it he will simply destroy them.

I think that giving the C to Thornton was a no brainer. As he goes, the team goes. When he plays well they win and when he dissapears they choke. It's his team, he should wear the C.

Plus I think it lets him and everyone else know what expectations the orgainzation has for him. No more sneaking out the side door after a bad playoff loss, captain.

I like murray. But jumbo was the obvious choice IMO. Boyle would be my 3nd pick followed by pavs.

I was hoping Wallin would get an A, but that extra weight would throw off what little balance he has. I don't mind Jumbo Jim getting the C. He showed flashes during the playoffs last year. If he's turned the corner, he'd actually be good captain IMO. Time will tell.
