Something similar happened on a ND touchdown against MI yesterday, but everyone, players, announcers, referees, missed it and the play never went to review. The ball was clearly let go before crossing the goal line.

that's why CFL is so entertaining. with only 3 downs, you need a special play or two every single drive. jamming up the middle for 4 yards won't get it done.

and yes, it was a hell of a slobberknocker. The player said he doesn't remember hitting the ground. He was getting the 'what day is it?' treatment on the sidelines.
