Mine is an F. I think that's a no brainer. Any body who was against tagging Suh wishing we would have done it now?

FA has only begun for splash signings

I'll wait patiently. right player for Austin's scheme, hopefully who he feels best fits, is most important for me.

F -

Their over confidence has cost them a competitive 2015 roster and probably their jobs. Can't see the Lions bringing this regime back after losing Suh, losing Fairley, and obviously having no plan B in place. Esp if they miss the playoffs, which they most likely will.

It's also pathetic that they re-signed Orlovsky.

No I do not wish they tagged Suh now.

I give a I for incomplete. It will change tonight and then daily or weekly. Lions are not the only team that is mum. Many teams made splash keeping there own FA, but not with others

That would be a good thing for you. Them losing their jobs that is...

Given that the only moves so far have been pre-determined, C. I'm not sure that keeping Tulloch is a good investment, but releasing Bush had to be done and I like that they did it pre-June 1st. Suh was either going to sign at a reasonable price or he wasn't.

And no, still not wishing that Suh was tagged at another $27MM and not only could we not sign a single free agent, but we had to release $10MM worth so we had one starting CB and one starting DT on the roster and nothing we could do other than the draft to fill the holes AND we still had to release half the veteran roster OR re-re-restructure Calvin and/or Stafford.

C+. On the plus side we signed Prater and let Suh's bloated salary walk. On the minus side we have signed some guys I think are getting worse (Orlovsky, Ross) and have not secured 1 DT yet.

Still very early though.

FA is 2 days old, technically.
Yep, and we just trade for Ngata. Problem number 1 fixed on the d-line. Austin gets his anchor.

Sit back and relax fellas. Not everything has to happen before the signing period begins.

I'll upgrade my grade to a D- since I can't use F+. It would be a C- or D+ if they had given up less than a 4th and 5th rounder for Ngata.

31 year old guy making big money and coming off a 4 game suspension. Will he sign a longer deal here or leave in 1 year? It's good for the Lions. But the Ravens are a top 3 team and let me go so don't get too pumped up about it.

My grade goes up a little now. Wish it was another year or 2 on the contract, but it is a stop gap

Get a new deal done with Ngata and surprise everyone by adding Revis. Pending the draft I would put that as a C+.

Ngata addition raises my grade to a D -. Rather have Fairley on a 5th year option.

I can't believe I'm going this high, but I'm upping my grade to a C-. We get a reasonable extension done with Ngata it'll go to a C+

Fairley out, Revis elsewhere. Current grade now a D-. Ngata for Suh and Fairley is "not a" (bad pun intended) good trade off. Add in the loss of 4th and 5th rd picks and its shit. Sorry, but that's what it is.

Short extension on Ngata, sign Williams and either Mosley or Melton, and who the hell knows on adding a CB and I will move it up to a C-. A fantastic draft that somehow adds two high quality starters and they might squeak out a B.

Fuck off Millenhew!! Throwing a monster party the day your ass files for unemployment.

At this point D-. Their d line was their strong suit last year so their solution is to completely blow it up, switch to a 3-4 and in the process lose suh who will finish as one of the best all time at his position. The lions had the number two defense last year finding something that worked and they threw it away. The draft needs to be extremely strong. Lions at this point have taken a giant leap backwards. Only reason they didn't get an F is because they haven't wasted money on a RB yet.
