This is definitely not working well. Draft picks can be hit or miss but you damn well better hit spending 10+ mil a year on each FA. Lang and Wagner have not looked anything close to worth 10 mil a year each.

I am not holding A'Shawn Robinson against Quin though, we all thought that was a steal, and we all would have made that pick. Many of us would have used the 1st round pick on him.

Not me. That's why I revived the thread about drafting him a couple weeks ago. The most impressive thing about him was his look. The rest - underwhelming. If he was as good a player as he looked like he should have been, he would have never slipped into the 2nd round. Bust potential was there.

Same here. I dont like Alabama players. Many tend to be overrated. Hard to pass on him in round 2 though.

Give Patricia time. BQ is not overly impressive to me so far. 2016 draft was not good. I can understand if his time is running out. Both guys are still young and Fatty is a quick learner. Not giving up on him yet. This year will be a rebuilding year. I have said that from the beginning and put it in my prediction for the season as well on thread as my guess was more pessimistic then most.

I hear ya. That was my plan exactly. Both D guys you mentioned were the bulk of my posts in the offseason. KJ was too so at least we got him. Hankins is still out there. Never know it could still happen.
