A friend has been trying to get me to watch this one, but the trailers just haven’t grabbed me. I will probably binge it after it finished S1.

I thought things really took off in Episode 3.

Intrigued to see how they finish.

This show reminded me a lot of that Netflix show which all the teen girls on the tropical island. Only this was done better.

I am not certain if this was good or bad, long term, but I didn’t like that they ended up making Lotti the cult leader. Especially when they seemed to make it Misty in the opening episode.

So do you guys think there is anything supernatural going on, or is it just a bunch of people losing it in their isolation?

I haven’t watched the show, but fwiw, Yellowjackets also happens to be the name of one of my favorite jazz fusion bands.

I am not certain if this was good or bad, long term, but I didn’t like that they ended up making Lotti the cult leader. Especially when they seemed to make it Misty in the opening episode.

i dont think they made it look like misty was the leader ever... she was already crazy, nobody was going to follow her... she just looks like she enjoys feeling needed, and the cult made her feel needed... The real question is who died in that opening scene of the first episode, i thought it was Jackie, but clearly that is not the case...

and yes, i do feel like there has to be some supernatural aspect to this show.. dont know to what extent, but i feel like they have inferred it too much throughout the show, not only on the island, that it would be a cop out if the show just went that the girls were going crazy...

They are making Taisa some kind of psychic, but only as a child. As an adult, though, it looks like she has lost her precog abilities and now it just becomes some kind of fugue state instead.

Misty is a complete psychopath, though. I don’t really see any supernatural with her.

The fat goalie appears to maybe have some precog abilities as well, but not as strong as Taisa had as a child.

Misty Had to get kicked out of the cult... there is no way that crazy ass would leave it willingly...

i can see the other three leaving, it makes sense even though it looks like Taissa never really left it...

We also do not know what Lottie was taking meds for, that could lead to some of her 'visions' even if some do appear to come true.

I wonder how they'll explain how months have gone by and not even a plane has flown overhead or nary a search party.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the rocks and maybe some magnetization mumbo jumbo that prevents them from scanning the area and tracing the black box from the plane.

Also, wouldn't you follow the river?
