The one anomaly to his stats is that he has only 11 doubles. An outlier, maybe, but with his hit total and obvious power, you'd think that number would be much higher.

Meh. The amount of power necessary to turn a double into a HR is closer than you might think. The lead guy for doubles, Josh Bell has 25 of them and only 18 dingers. Douchey Bryce Harper has 21 doubles and only 11 HRs.

Yelich is a left-handed hitter, playing in a hitter-friendly ballpark. I'm glad he's free of his old crappy club.

Brewers should start working on a contract extension. He's technically signed through 2022('21 with a team option) Braun has one more year guaranteed before a buyout. There's $19 million freed up
