Let's continue with our series wins... I'm going to the 1pm on Thursday so hopefully we can clinch the series that day... I'm stoked that I get to see Logan Gilbert pitch...

Sheffield tonight? Probably will leave in the 5th inning after giving up 4-6 runs...

I called for something to be done about Sheffield weeks ago but looks like we are content on punting games and further lowering his confidence

When a bullpen game looks like a genius move over seeing Sheffield start, you know you are in trouble.

I lasted about 2 minutes watching that BP.

I figured this would be the game that would be the toughest in the series. Still hopeful they can get the next two

Sheffield is an absolute dumpster fire. After watching tonites 2 innings of work ( and I use the term 'work' rather loosely ) I am surprised his ERA is only 6.0.

And what on earth was Servais thinking keeping him in the game AFTER dotting Stanton when he was clearly struggling and the game was only 4-0 at the time. needing just a single out to get out of the inning. He sailed a few pitches that missed the strike zone by around 4 feet or so

I guess that's why the marquis Yankees are in town and mid summer with a ton of empty seats at the ballpark. The fan base is wizening up.

good nite to work in the yard

Yeah that’s just Servais at work. Was clear he should have been pulled before that. That’s why I’ll never feel good with him managing the team. He makes the same mistakes and never changes

Are we out of options for sending Sheffield back down to Triple A? He gives us zero chance of winning now days...

Seager creeps closer to .200, I wonder how many years they will extend him.

This was the article I got it from (and this was written prior to todays start).

But right now, the Seattle Mariners can’t continue to run him out there with the hope that something magically changes. Whether the issues are mechanical or mental, he needs a fix and with two MILB options remaining, it may not be the worst idea to give him a breather in Tacoma and let him work some with a highly regarded pitching coach Rob Marcello Jr.

Makes sense... If we have 2 remaining, now would be the perfect time to use it... Can't keep sending him out there to last 3 innings over and over and expect him to just magically figure it out... He needs some coaching and confidence...
