Bogaerts is in the middle of a six year $120m contract ($20m/yr) with an opt out clause that he will 100% use after this season... So, what could/should/will his next contract be worth?

Here's a snapshot of other SS contracts (Lindor, $34m/10 - Seager $32m/10 - Tatis, $24m/14 - Story, $23m/6 - Baez, $23m/6 - Turner, $21m/1 - Franco, 17M/11):

As each day passes I am more and more convince the Red Sox will not be resigning him.. Then again they did resign Kike for $10 so I guess it is possible that he will get $30-35 from the Red Sox but I just don't see them doing it

Neither Bogearts or Devers will get a 10 year contract. My guess is that bother will be offered 5 years/$150M.

Both will be Yankees or Dodgers next year, possibly Mets.

Probably a little more than Story? Personally I think Story might actually be a safer bet. The thing you worry about with middle infielders is that their defense will be good enough a few years down the road. According to Baseball Reference defensive WAR Bogaerts defense has gotten better the last couple years so maybe he's fine. But who knows what he could actually get. At first glance Seager's contract looks like one the Rangers will definitely regret at some point. I guess I thought he was older because his brother has already retired but they are farther apart in age than I thought.

I was thinking 6 years at about $27-29m each. Would someone give him that?

IF the Red Sox even think of only give either of them what they gave to Story I'd hope both would say a BIG F U Henry and Co and walk out the door

I think the Red Sox would do that for one of them... Devers most likely because of Story

Well.... Devers is only 25... He'll need more than a 6 year deal. And, he would be worth it....

But, what will Bogaerts get - where ever he goes?

Yeah I'm just thinking the Red Sox would be willing to do that for Devers and not for Xander. I am pretty much resigned to the fact he's gone

Especially with Boras... He's likely gone...

But, Boston is in unknown territory - with no albatross contracts, and a ton of money available... The Lux tax is around $230m. They are under $100m. I doubt they'll jump to over $200, but they could still afford a few whoppers.

So, who knows... Maybe there's a chance...

well we all know how great they are at throwing around money so wisely (Crawford, Sale, What his name that was in the outfield but was basically in Triple A all that time because he sucked - Not Cordero the other guy)

Not sure... Coco Crisp???

The Fenway Sports Group makes enough to throw money around... And, not every deal works out... Despite some crazy contracts and poorly negotiated deals (Jon Lester?), they've won four championships with very different teams....

Bloom is new and I'm very interested to see what he does with a blank payroll... Seriously, he could sign Devers, Bogaerts and Judge for $30m each and still have enough to fill the rest of the roster....

Rusney Castillo (had to look him up)
